Assystem is recruiting for a customer-focused Project Manager to join our team in Derby on a permanent basis.
In this role, you will focus on delivering key, complex projects as well as partnering with customers to develop future opportunities.
You must have a strong engineering background coupled with some project delivery experience.

Hours: 37 Hours per week
Contract type: PermanentKey responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage multi-disciplined teams of designers and engineers, to ensure projects are delivered within budget and timescale targets, to the correct quality
Develop opportunities from the prospect stage, via pre-qualifications and tenders, to successful contract award, project execution, and satisfied customers
Nurture and grow client relationships with key stakeholders and act as a point of contact for Assystem
Report and present KPI's such as Earned Value Measures
What we are looking for in our next Project Manager:
Preferably degree qualified in technical/engineering discipline however significant hands-on engineering and project delivery experience is essential
Experience within a highly regulated industry such as Nuclear or Defence.
Proven track record of delivering to tight deadlines.
Experience in developing opportunities as a supplier and working with an external supply chain to deliver projects.
